What needed to be solved
Create a calm and functional family home that maintains privacy toward the street while opening fully toward the garden.

Design decision
The practice developed the architectural concept, the balance of solid and glazed surfaces, the internal organisation and the relationship between house, covered terrace and garden.

What the design enables
The covered terrace connects the living spaces and garden, while the more enclosed street-facing surfaces protect the residents’ privacy.
